The Mint Barrel Barn

The Mint Barrel Barn holds a special place in my heart. It's not just a stunning venue with a plethora of distinctive features; it's also family-friendly and incredibly accommodating to both guests and vendors alike. With its cascading waterfall and charming wooden interior, it provided the ideal backdrop for the Hill and Ceja families to unite and celebrate the joyous occasion of Alma and Zach's wedding. Despite being set in late October, the day graced us with clear blue skies and pleasant temperatures, making it an ideal setting for an outdoor ceremony.

Getting Ready

The bridal and groom's parties arrived at the venue promptly at 9 a.m. to commence their preparations. While the groom's party savored pastries and shared updates on their lives, the bridal party relished mimosas and collaborated on hairstyling and makeup, punctuated by lighthearted TikTok creations to dispel any pre-wedding jitters. Mothers, aunts, and cousins joined in, offering congratulations and lending a hand to the bride as she prepared for her special day.

At the conclusion of their preparations, the bride delighted in separate "first looks" with her father and soon-to-be husband. Witnessing the love and admiration that both men showered upon Alma was truly touching. Allocating this time for these intimate moments made the occasion feel even more special and afforded everyone a moment of tranquility amidst the excitement.

Ceremony

The wedding palette was curated by a genuine "purple enthusiast," evident in every detail from the invitations to the flower girls' dresses, adding that unique touch that made this celebration unforgettable for all who were present. Alma and Zach exchanged vows amidst their cherished ones, with the groom investing numerous hours perfecting his Spanish vows as a testament to his devotion to Alma and her family. Joyful tears flowed freely as guests were treated to a glimpse of the love, camaraderie, and cherished memories that define Alma and Zach's relationship.

Reception

After Alma and Zach were pronounced married, the guests proceeded to cocktail hour, where they relished outdoor games, a delectable charcuterie board, and refreshing drinks. Alma, Zach, and their wedding party made a grand entrance with an exuberant dance before everyone settled in for dinner. The night seemed to pass by in the blink of an eye. From lively dancing to heartfelt toasts from loved ones, this celebration was one I wished could have lasted forever.
